Georgetown Jingle 2012

Georgetown Jingle logoThe Georgetown Jingle was created in 2006 by the Four Seasons Hotel and members of the Washington design community to raise critical revenue for the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Blood  and Marrow Transplantation Program at Georgetown University Hospital.  Over the past six years, the Jingle has raised $1.5 million.  This summer, construction will begin on the pediatric bone marrow transplant unit.  This unit, in collaboration with Duke University Hospital and Jingle, will ensure that families receive the care they need close to home.  The suites included in these units were created by three designers with the goal of having unique rooms that would ensure the elements of this space were nurturing and part of the healing process.

Niermann Weeks is proud to participate with the 2012 Holiday Crafts Children’s Workshop at the Four Seasons in Georgetown on Sunday, 16 December from 1 pm to 4 pm.  Families will enjoy meeting Santa Claus and friends, holiday crafts, entertainment, a children’s buffet, and dessert tastings from DC favorites.  Don’t miss the silent auction and fabulous raffles!  Tickets are $50 for children (ages 2-18) and $150 for adults.

Funds from the Jingle will continue to support the pediatric bone marrow transplant program, as well as the Childhood Cancer Surivorship Program and the pediatric palliative care program.
