Light Up The Season
We are excited to be part of the first annual Light Up the Season event at the Georgetown Four Seasons to benefit Children’s National Health Systems on Sunday, December 03, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. The Four Seasons Hotel is located at 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Light Up the Season is a family-friendly community fundraising event featuring designer-decorated holiday trees, menorahs, mantle pieces, and wreaths. Each original piece is a unique collaboration between a patient of Children’s National and a notable area designer. We are decorating a mantle with swags of crystals and are making a custom fire screen with Dr. Bear, the hospital’s mascot. All the decorations will be on display in the hotel lobby from November 27 though December 20.
The afternoon of December 3 will include activities for all ages—holiday cookie decorating, ornament making, and visits from Santa and Dr. Bear. Light fare and holiday libations will add to the festivities, as will musical performances by local artists and youth entertainers. Guests are also invited to explore and participate in a silent auction featuring child/family retail items and unique experiences.
