Light Up The Season 2019
We are excited to be part of the third annual Light Up the Season event at the Georgetown Four Seasons to benefit Children’s National Health Systems on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. The Four Seasons Hotel is located at 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Light Up the Season is a family-friendly community fundraising event featuring designer-decorated holiday trees, menorahs, and wreaths. Each original piece is a unique collaboration between a patient of Children’s National and a notable area designer. Eleanor and Claire Niermann are decorating the main fireplace with a custom made menorah, a fire screen, and wooden trees liberally festooned with crystals. All the decorations will be on display in the hotel lobby from November 25 though December 19.
The all-ages event offers holiday crafts, pop-up shopping, visits from Santa and Dr. Bear and light refreshments. Performances by local musical artists and youth entertainers will ring in the season.
This special event supports the Children’s Health Board, which provides grant funding for pediatric programs at Children’s National. Your contributions directly benefit the health and well-being of children across the Washington, D.C. region.
