Light Up The Season 2018
We are excited to be part of the second annual Light Up the Season event at the Georgetown Four Seasons to benefit Children’s National Health Systems on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. The Four Seasons Hotel is located at 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Light Up the Season is a family-friendly community fundraising event featuring designer-decorated holiday trees, menorahs, mantle pieces, and wreaths. Each original piece is a unique collaboration between a patient of Children’s National and a notable area designer. We are decorating the main fireplace with a custom fire screen with Dr. Bear, the hospital’s mascot, and wooden trees decorated with swags of crystals. All the decorations will be on display in the hotel lobby from November 26 though December 20.
The afternoon will include activities for all ages, including holiday cookie decorating, ornament making, and visits from Santa and Dr. Bear. Seasonal lunch fare and holiday libations will add to the festivities, along with musical performances by local artists and youth entertainers. Find your perfect holiday gifts at one of the event’s pop-up boutiques and through a silent auction featuring children and family retail items and experiences.
