You can order a range of custom sizes, with or without a shelf, in the Baltic white & gold leaf finish as shown or in any of our other standard or premium finishes to perfectly fit your space. Husband and wife team Joe Niermann and Eleanor McKay started the Niermann Weeks Company in 1978 in Memphis, TN, and their daughters Eleanor and Claire Niermann grew up working with them and the company. The family moved to Annapolis, MD in 1984 and relocated the business to their new home. Today, the company’s artisans continue to make each piece of lighting and furniture by hand in studios near the Chesapeake Bay. Joe’s designs combine his inspiration from 18th century neo-classicism through 20th century French Moderne with the comfort of 21st century Americans.
The family remains fully involved with the day to day operations of the company. Joe designs, Claire fabricates, and Eleanor & Eleanor keep you up-to-date about our hand made creations for your home. We fully understand that for your nest, you need goods made of high quality, a finish palette with a great feel, the proper scale, and comfortable beauty. That’s already been engineered into our broad selection of lighting, beds, tables, seating, cabinets, fabrics and accessories. Our family builds so your family can live surrounded by usable beauty.

Winter Lighting Promotion!
From now through March 31st 2011, Niermann Weeks is offering a special finish promotion on all lighting products!
Here are the specifics of the promotion:
- - Every Niermann Weeks lighting product will be sold at the lowest published price, no matter which finish is ordered. Example: The standard finish on the Italian Chandelier is chalk rust, which is a standard (B level) finish. During the promotion, your customers can upgrade to Venetian silver leaf, a premium (D level) finish, and still pay the standard finish price.
- - Products ordered in the standard (B level) finish, and all lighting designs priced only at the premium (D level) finish, will be discounted by 5% during the promotion.
- The promotion includes all Quick Ship lighting products in premium finishes. Example: The Quick Ship Torino Chandelier is offered in our Parisian gold leaf finish, which is priced at the premium level. During the promotion, it will be sold at the standard level price.
- - This is for standard products only – custom orders and add-ons such rock crystal balls, extra chain, candle covers, etc. are exempt from the promotional discount.
- - Standard lighting lead time is approximately six weeks.

Niermann Weeks presents our new and improved Quick Ship Program! We’ve updated our product mix to include some of our most popular new pieces, including the Vivaldi and Torino Chandeliers and the Paris Side Table. Other new additions include the Baldachino Ceiling Fixture, a smaller size of the Danieli Chandelier, and the Montaigne Floor Lamp in both silver and gold leaf finishes. Dotto is a curtain fabric that is coated on both sides with punched out holes.
The back and front sides are in different colors, one intense, one neutral, allowing for an interesting play with light and raster.

Studio E Brings Royalty To Wallcoverings at Niermann Weeks!
We’re excited to welcome Studio E Wallcoverings as the newest addition to our line at Niermann Weeks’ Washington DC Showroom!
Studio E hand manufactures luxury wallcovering in five types- Venetian Plasters, Metallics, Hand Prints, Natural Fibers and Broken Color & Glaze Work. All papers are durable, wipable, fire-rated, and available in single and double rolls. Their production artisans undergo rigorous apprenticeship to master Studio E‘s painting, plastering and gilding techniques. Design and production takes place at the 16,000 square foot workshop at Studio E‘s New York City headquarters and has been made by hand in the USA since 1999.
We’re also particularly excited to include Studio E‘s Princess Collection in our showroom: Stella, Princess Leia, Princess Grace, Jackie O, and Queen Anne will all add a royal flair to your walls! Here is Stella installed in our showroom:
