T ‘is the season for dreamy romantic beds, as Valentine’s Day will soon arrive and winter is still upon us. You know your best nights are always enjoyed in a sheltered, warm, and lovely cocoon. Naturally I recommend Niermann Weeks bed as the core component. One of our sturdy canopied beds will allow you to peacefully sleep and read and do whatever. It will be your own private hidey-hole. No one – lover, children, and pets – is ever allowed unless you specifically invite them. Let me show you some ways our beds have added to the joy of life.
www.appartmenttherapy.com specifically recommends our Valois Bed as an Uber-Romantic Canopy Bed. How nice! Go see for yourself at http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/sf/bedroom/high-low-and-diy-the-uberromantic-canopy-bed-106429?image_id=1063030.
Joe and I have enjoyed many anniversaries at special hotels in the US and Europe, and our Valois Bed captures our romantic memories of Venice. The light in that city shimmers off the lagoons, giving one a slightly blurry view of fantastic interiors and exteriors. Even the sun rises and sets more romantically there. Our bed is clad in our antiqued mirror, which softly reflects all the prettiness around it.

We introduced this bed to the world by creating this bedroom for a photo shoot. The room is actually Joe’s studio, and we spent HOURS cleaning an open space for this shoot. Seeing the room look this pretty, I was sad to tear down the shoot and return the clutter. Joe, however, wasn’t as he needed all his space back.

In our showrooms we present the bed in soft, shimmery silks on the headboard and bedding. Of course, I always ask people to actually climb into the bed, And then they can anticipate how this bed will form the core of their own personal nest.

The mirrors on the Valois Bed simply record the colors and patterns that surround them, so in this New York apartment our silvered bed rests in a golden room and reads as golden. I would be happy to snuggle right into that bed.

Traditional Home showed our custom Steel Four Post Bed in their October 2009 issue. Our bed graces the bedroom of Chicago interior designer Eva Quateman. As a designer she has access to wholesale and retail sources, but she chose our bed finished in a muted gold. What an honor for us to be the core of her cocoon!

Other customers have ordered our bed with an upholstered headboard and had us finish the bed in antique white.

The architect Hugh Newell Jacob selected our Steel Four Port Bed for this minimal, ethereal bedroom he designed for a client. Since Hugh is considered a modern master of architecture, we at Niermann Weeks are honored to be his choice.

I pulled this sumptuous page out of a Southern Accents. I was so excited about the rich calmness of this bedroom that I forgot to note the date of the issue.
A Washington interior designer got this lively reddish room into Washington Home & Design (late Fall 2006). In addition to our bed, our mirrored Milano cabinet holds bedside stuff, and our mirrored Monaco Lantern dominates the ceiling space. Niermann Weeks scored a triple whammy with this room, and the colors are totally in synch with romance.
